Artist Statement: The artist is the most senior law man and is Boss of the Warlpiri people for rain, thunder, lightning, clouds, frogs and all creatures involved in the coming of the wet season and water (Ngapa) Dreamings. In this print he has shown Puyurru, his father's country with the water courses and waterholes that fill during rain. The symbols are used in the body painting applied for important rain ceremonies. The dots represent rain drops.
