Artist Statement: ARTIST’S STATEMENT

This contemporary Coast Salish design depicts four profile perspective salmon heads, and two frontal perspective frog heads. The four salmon and two frogs share each other’s mouths as well as each other’s eyes. The visual punning of this design symbolizes the symbiotic interconnectedness of nature.
