Artist Statement: Raven has brought us many things and Salmon was one of them. He flew the coastal waters of British Columbia with a mouthful of salmon roe. He dropped the eggs in each of the streams and rivers to bring the people salmon. He would later show us how to catch and prepare the salmon to help us get through the winter months. Here Raven is dropping the eggs and as they fall they start to transform into mature salmon
