Artist Statement: Coming over on the ferry from Twassawsen our family was treated by a visit from a giant pod of Killerwhales! There must have been twenty or more that passed in front and behind the ship. The Killerwhales would split off in twos as they swam by. When I see this image I remember this remarkable visit.
