 Connie Bara

Connie Bara is a master carver from Palembei Village. He is from a large family of artists and has been traditionally trained to carve by his father and Thomas Kain, another elder. He began to carve in 1988. He is particularly known as a carver of the graceful and complex roof finials which are traditional to this village. Connie is married with one child.
