Francis Timbin is a son of renowned master carver Joseph Timbin from Palembei Village. Trained by his father and older brother Otto he bagan to carve when he was twelve years old. Inspired by myth, his works explore an ever widening range of traditional stories.
Francis was born in Palembei Village in 1970 and he is married with five children. His work is represented in private collections in Australia,Canada and the United States.
