Jane Wena, from the Chimbu region of Papua New Guinea, was born in 1971. She is employed as a graphic designer by the Post Courier, Papua New Guinea's principal newspaper. She has worked for ten years as an artist in graphite and pen and ink, the latter is her favourite medium. The theme of her work relates to the Chimbu and neighbouring Huli cultures.
