Michael Timbin
Palembei Village,
Michael Timbin is the son of renowned master carver Joseph Timbin from Palembei Village. Carving in the family tradition, at an early age he developed a particular style uniquely his own. Trained by his father and older brothers and inspired by myth, his works based in tradition demonstrate innovation and originality. Michael was born in Palembei Village in 1974 and he is married with three children. His work is represented in private collections in Australia,Canada and the United States.
