Otto Timbin was born in Palembei in 1967. He is the son of renowned master carver Joseph Timbin. Carving in the family tradition and trained by his father, he has developed a particular style uniquely his own. He carves a wide range of forms, including ceremonial masks, roof finials, lime containers, and elegant walking sticks. His work is represented in private collections in Australia, Canada, and the United States.
