Artist Statement: "The wolf is highly respected because of its social behaviour as a family unit. The wolf is considered the chief of the Animal Kingdom. The people of Kingcome Inlet hold the wolf in the highest regard as their ancestors came from wolves. Amongst my people, warriors used to dress in wolf skins adorned with tails, signifying their deeds and status. The warriors liken themselves to the wolves, as fierce hunters of other tribes."
