Wanis is one of the types of malagan masks that we have in our villages. This mask people use for dancing, especially when we are feasting. This one is called Kinikis, which comes out of the main Wanis type. It's about people who travelled by canoe. The canoe capsized, and they swam ashore. In our language, kinikis means "swimming".
