Kunganjaat is wearing a button blanket of mouse woman design; her basket contains many berries and she is carrying just three which magically reappear every time one is eaten.
The legend relates how a young man met a real mouse in the forest and helped her over a log, as he did so he heard and old woman calling him (mouse woman in human form). Then he saw a large house in the forest, inside, mouse woman, wearing her button blanket greeted him and offered her basket of magical berries in acknowledgement of his kindness.
