This bracelet design is designed in the spirit of old Coast Salish goat horn bracelets. As with my previous painting, "Salish Bracelet," this design is intended to counter the misperception that goat horn bracelets were merely decorative, non-representational designs, devoid of cultural SIGNificance. Within this bracelet design, I have represented visually vague and ambigous eyes and mouths. The design is the sign, which signifies Coast Salish spirituality.
