This month we are featuring the work of several gallery artists with a special focus on fibres. Feathered handmade bilums from Emma Opa and Cathy Kata are featured along with a menagerie of gumba tree fibre animals from Iatmul weaver Angelina Gumowe. We are also pleased to feature serigraphs inspired by Northwest Coast spindle whorl designs and a new serigraph titled Salish Rope by Kelly Cannell, accomplished designer and daughter of Susan Point.
