October 6th, 2009: Hailans to Ailans in UK, US

Hailans to Ailans, the first international exhibition of contemporary Papua New Guinea art, was on in London at Rebecca Hossack Art Gallery until October 17. There were also events associated with the show at the de Young Museum in San Francisco. The second half of the exhibition opened here at Alcheringa Gallery on November 5 at 7pm. Participating Papua New Guinean and Coast Salish artists were in attendance
