Frogs are one of my favourite images to paint. The earlier designs started out in red and black, but I prefer this combination of the green and black - much like the natural colour of Pacific Tree Frogs found on the West Coast. It is said that Raven was so jealous of the frog's ability to speak that it took away its voice and replaced it with a croak. But even so Frog gleams with confidence and stability - feet firmly planted on the ground. Have you ever tried to tip a frog over?
