Welcome to The Storytellers, an exhibition featuring storytelling artists and mythological storytellers. In all oral traditions the art of storytelling has been integral to the inheritance of knowledge. Storytelling preserves a common wealth of ideas within tribes and families: it strengthens the community. Stories help make sense of natural disasters and commemorate remarkable events. It is those stories that inspire and empower many of today's artists to create works of original and contemporary design that celebrate their culture. Featured here are their magnificent creations, individual interpretations of age-old myths. Pieces listed with thumbnail images below are currently available for viewing; late arrivals will be added as they come in. All priced works are available for immediate sale. We can ship in time for Christmas. All prices are in Canadian dollars. Contact us for more information. | ||
