Salmon Vision celebrates the work of three young artists who at this point in their careers have chosen to explore their Salish roots almost entirely by means of graphic design. This is expressed primarily in the form of original paintings and silkscreens on various surfaces, often on paper, and less frequently on drums or paddles. We are also honoured to include in the exhibition a new piece by renowned Coast Salish artist Susan Point. It is impossible to think of contemporary Salish design without her presence; each of these emerging artists are quick to acknowledge the influence she continues to have on their growth as artists. All priced works are available for immediate sale. All prices are in Canadian dollars. Contact us for more information. | ||
