Details
The design was done in 1991, and shows three faces in the shape of Vancouver Island and representing the Salish, the Nuu-Chah-Nulth and the Kwagiulth. The faces are the same, but the designs on each one are different. The message the artist is trying to interpret here is that we are all the same people; it is our custom, culture and artistic style that make us different.
