This story revolved around the bird and the woman in the centre of the storyboard. They were married, and the husband decided to live in the form of a bird. He wore his feathers as if they were a costume. One day he took them off and went hunting as a man and when his wife discovered this she burned the feathers in the fire. When her husband returned he had no alternative but to continue his life in human form.

In the centre, left of the board, another story unfolds, of transformation. The suckling figure was really a spirit (Maselai) who has the power to transform from baby to adult. When grown he slept with his two sisters until they realized that he was not like them. In fear they ran away and a crocodile carried them to the other side of the river and he killed ‘the maselai man’.
