Details
The balance shown in this piece is the medicine of the eagle. Eagle teaches us to live in balance: if you watch the eagle fly it is able to navigate strong winds and turbulence with grace, by staying in balance. If you watch a vulture soar it is constantly trying to find its balance, its wings going up and down; but the eagle remains steady. The red and black in this piece represent the black and white of the yin yang, keeping these opposing energies in balance is the ey to health in all of us, balancing our mind, body, heart and spirit. We must work with the dark and light energies in ourselves to be healthy and lie our true lives.
